Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘Alamin.
We give thanks to Allah (SWT) for granting us life, health, and the opportunity to gather here today as sisters united under the noble platform of FOMWAN. May His peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW), his household, and companions.
Dear sisters, I warmly welcome you all to this inaugural meeting of our newly constituted National Executive Council. I am deeply humbled by the trust reposed in us collectively to carry the Amanah of leading FOMWAN at this critical time in our history.
This meeting is not just a formality; it is the foundation of our journey together. It is my prayer that Allah (SWT) will guide us with wisdom, sincerity, and unity of purpose, so that our service to Him through FOMWAN becomes a Sadaqatul Jariyyah for us all.
As we begin this tenure, I wish to emphasize three guiding principles that will shape our leadership:
- Collective Responsibility – No single individual can achieve FOMWAN’s mission alone. We must work as a team, respecting our different strengths and complementing one another.
- Continuity and Innovation – We will build on the solid foundation laid by our predecessors while introducing new approaches that respond to today’s realities.
- Spiritual Grounding and Integrity – Our strength as a faith-based organization lies in our devotion to Allah (SWT). Let us anchor every decision, action, and program in Taqwa, transparency, and accountability.
My dear sisters, I encourage us to see this opportunity not just as leadership roles, but as an act of Ibadah. Together, we can advance the cause of Muslim women, strengthen our voices in national discourse, empower our communities, and foster interfaith harmony.
I look forward to hearing your ideas and dreams for FOMWAN as we set our collective agenda today. May Allah (SWT) grant us sincerity, patience, and success in this noble Amanah.
Barakallahu Feekum.
Wassalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
